Born in Crdoba, Altuna plastic his unveiling in the comics universe in 1965 for publisher Column Columbia. His outset hand were Titan, a Superman-like superhero, Kabul de Bengala (1971, written by Hctor Germn Oesterheld and Armando Fernndez inserted others), Big Norman, Hilario Corvaln and others.
From 1973 to 1976 Altuna collaborated with Fleetway, Ediciones Record, Charlton Comics, Corinthian and the French Les Humanodes Associs.
In July 1975, in the daily newsprint El Clarn , Altuna with source Carlos Trillo organized the diarist oddball Hugo Chvez, topper known as El loco Chavez , one of the Argentine remotest orthodox comics strips. Again with Trillo Altuna has drawn the nonparallel Charlie Daydream and Las puertitas del seor Lpez .
In 1982 Altuna moved to Sitges, Spain, draftsmanship stories for the Column Toutain and short-circuit erotic stories for Corinthian . As of Feb 2005, he has published the comedian airstrip Familia Tipo in the paper El Peridico .
